AI quality requirement sheet
The buyer's fill-in document. One row per characteristic in scope, with the task, the measure, the method, the threshold, the conditions, the owner and the evidence. It is the document the kit and the record are built for.
| # | Section | What goes in it |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | System and context | The system, its purpose, the users, the setting and the affected groups. The context of use decides what quality in use means. |
| 2 | Scope decision | Each of the twelve characteristics marked include or exclude, with a reason. The reason is the record that survives a change of staff. |
| 3 | The requirement | For each included characteristic: the task, the measure, the method, the threshold and the conditions the result holds under. |
| 4 | The evidence | The artefact that will show the requirement is met, where it is kept and who can read it. |
| 5 | The owner and review | A named owner, a review date and the trigger for an earlier review, such as a model change or a new use. |
| 6 | The trade-offs | The accepted trade-offs between correctness, performance efficiency and robustness, with the reason. |
How to use it
Fill the sections in order. The scope decision comes before the requirement, because a characteristic that is out of scope needs a reason, not a blank. The evidence section comes before the owner, because a requirement whose evidence cannot be named is not yet a requirement. Keep the edition and the date on the cover.
The paid kit carries this outline as a workbook with the record's evidence and gaps beside each row, and with the owner, status and due fields ready to fill.
