Annex A, B and C, read plainly
All three annexes are informative. Annex A places the document in the SQuaRE series, Annex B compares a risk-based and a quality-based approach, and Annex C explains why the document prefers functional correctness to the general word performance. None adds a requirement, and an assessment finding should not rest on one.
| Annex | Record | Status |
|---|---|---|
| A | Annex A (informative) SQuaRE | Informative |
| B | Annex B (informative) Risk-based and quality-based approaches | Informative |
| C | Annex C (informative) Performance | Informative |
The rules this is built from
Every line names its source. The 25 records are written from the published ISO/IEC 25059:2023, in our words, with the clause cited. The change layer is read from the public draft of the second edition and the ISO stage record. Where the public record is silent, the page says so.
Clause by clause, and the annexes
Each page states what the model element is, what the 2023 edition said, what the public draft changes, the evidence a reviewer asks for and the common gaps.
Open the recordThe change, labelled
The second edition adds a service model and environmental sustainability, and moves two characteristics to better parents. Each page says which and why.
What changesNo invented date
The FDIS is at 50.00. ISO records no publication date. The planning date is an estimate and is labelled wherever it appears.
