TERMS

Terms of use

These terms apply to the site and to the paid files. They are short because the product is simple: a reference, a check and a set of files.

Accuracy

The record is written in our own words from the published edition and the public record of the second edition. It is a summary and an interpretation, not the official text. Check any line against the official text before you rely on it. Where the public record is silent, the page says so. The planning date is an estimate, not an ISO date. If you find an error, tell us and we will correct it.

Trademarks and copyright

ISO and IEC are the owners of their marks and of the standards. This site is an independent reference. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or approved by ISO or IEC. Clause numbers and titles are used to identify the clause a reader has to find; the standard's text is not reproduced. The site's own text, design and files are copyright The Art of Service Pty Ltd.

What the product is not

It is not legal advice, an audit, a certification or a conformity assessment. It does not decide whether a system complies with any law or standard. The model is voluntary. You are responsible for the requirements you write and the decisions you take.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, condition or warranty that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Where a guarantee applies and the product is not of acceptable quality, you may be entitled to a remedy. To the extent the law allows us to limit the remedy, we may choose to resupply the files or refund the price paid. Nothing in this clause limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. In addition to those rights, we will refund the price within 14 days if the files do not work as described.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Queensland, Australia, and the courts of Queensland have jurisdiction. Nothing here limits a consumer's right to bring a claim in their own jurisdiction where the law allows it.

Licence

The kit is licensed to one organisation for internal use. You may copy it within that organisation and include rows in your own documents. You may not resell it, publish it as a product or share it outside the organisation. The free pages may be linked and quoted with attribution.

Changes

These terms may change. The date at the foot of the page is the date of the current version.
